Struggling with doubt can take it's toll. The only cure for burden of doubt and the only relief that will set your free is to belief. Choose to believe and then do it. Choose to doubt your doubt. Watch your doubt fade away as you commit yourself to doing what you need to do, when you should do it and how it should be done.

You don't need to search for belief. It is already in you. Decide now to believe...in yourself.

Hello Everyone,

Decided to post today from my hotel in Detroit. I haven't delivered my speech yet. That's tomorrow, Sat Jan 29. I hit the stage at 5pm EST. It has been a fantastic event and I will post pictures as soon as I can.

Before I post todays thoughts I need to set the record straight. I goofed. The good thing about Typepad is that you can schedule your posts ahead of time. I did post up my content with a publishing date.

I was feeling the urge to write and saw my oversight as I logged onto the site.

I want to share this quote with you as it seems to resonate with me regarding the Principle of Obscurity.

Your greatest progress will be made during your moments of solitary confinement. You must walk the lone road of personal change and growth in order to realize your great potential.

No one can cause change for you. You must embark on the journey for growth alone. The work that may put you to sleep or that work which is least interesting or takes to most courage and commitment to implement is the work that is most vital for change.

The Principle of Obscurity is something I mentioned here before and a term phrase I coined to describe that "season of being hidden" for time of development and change.

Everyone who reaches for their dreams also walks this road and they walk this road alone for season. It is those moments where you are most alone and most like who you really are that real challenges, changes and outcomes are decided.

Your Transformation Season
Just like the caterpillar that goes into a cocoon for a time...it is alone and undergoing change. Only after the change has occurred do we enjoy the beauty of the butterfly! A very private process and transformation becomes a public gift to the all the world for enjoyment.

And so goes the process for you. I want to encourage you to NOT be discouraged by the challenges that you seem to be tackling all by yourself. If you find yoursel at a place and time where no one seems to be able to provide you with answers, comfort of support that your realize the providence of it all.

I would suggest that a situation like that means that you must take courage and walk that path alone to transformation. Some challenges are designed for you and you alone to embrace and there are required changes from these challenges that you alone must accept.

The Midnight Hour
You are the most like who you really are in the midnight hour. There all alone, there is no one but you. There is no pretense. There are no expections from others. It's just you. That is why changes that happen in obscurity can be so powerful.

You cannot escape the real you. You can pretent to anyone you like in the pubic domain but when you go home who are you...really?

My point is that when your changes occur at the place that is really you, then the real you who has changed can emerge. That is NOT pretense. That is positive change and self development at work.

Patience is the Virtue
Patience is the virtue here. Walk out your destiny in silence when necessary changes need to occur. Your gifts will surely make room for you in the world when they mature and are ready to go. Your public unveiling will be as manificent as an emerging butterfly when you allow your changes to run their course without you shorting the process.

Invest in personal change. Take the time to do the hidden work required for public success and you WILL live your dreams with character that can sustain a lifetime of success.

A worthy dream or vision will challenge your very being. It will force you to think about how you must change in order to take to the task. It will make you feel uncomfortable and uneasy, you start to feel a little light headed and nervous...and that's just the beginning.

Your excitement and passion will begin to flow and bubble up. Let the positive energy shine forth. Don't worry about how the change will occur and if the dream will be reality. Just know that when you get in motion, life will meet you where you are.

You will have all the resources supplied to you along the way for fighting the good fight and obtaining the necessary victories. You will find in due time and most likely unnoticed by you that you indeed have changed. You've transformed and enlarged your capacities as a natural outcome of pursuing your big dream.

This is the priceless and invaluable miracle that you are! That you are gift with capacities and abilities to pursue any possibility of your choosing. You were designed to handle complexity and simplicity. You have creative powers beyond your wildest dream. You can change and grow and be who you want to be.

Dream Big for 2005. Commit to making it your best year ever! Put yourself on the line and commit to making no more excuses and commit to making it happen.

I have a powerful motivation quote to share today. It's actually more of a poem really. My sister who is a fantastic writer shared this with me. She and I both write poetry in our spare time. Let me know how you feel about this one.

Is this not true? How do you spell success? Your setbacks are only setups for your comebacks. You cannot determine your future potential by temporary circumstances. Failure is your friend when you use it for feedback instead of just drawing back.

Sure we all encounter challenges and reversals of fortune at sundry points along our life's journey. But is that not the challenge?! To overcome and to not be denied our right to abundance?

To finish strong should be the goal of everyone. You should desire to arrive at the end of our life having used life up as much you possibly could have! To be able to say that you simply could not squeeze anything else out of your life regarding what you wanted to do, what you wanted to become and what you wanted to have is to have lived life well. You can can look back in great satisfaction while hearing others say to you "well done".

I want to encourage you to dream fantastically and let failure be your stepping stone and not a stumbling block! Live life to the fullest and love hard! Serve others well and always believe in your dreams.

Failure is simply success misspelled. What you think is before you to hurt your is reall an opportunity to commit even more to your own success. What does your heart sing about? What do you see inside yourself as being the ultimate life of happiness? To power success motivation and momentum towards achieving your dreams you must hold your dreams in focus .

A strategy that I use is the mediate on motivational quotes that continue to spark passion and energy to keep pressing towards my goals and dreams. You must know that any dream in heart brings with it the capacity to achieve it!
