Tenacity according to Merriam-Webster is persistent in maintaining or adhering to something valued or habitual

A Funny Thing Happened...

The last several days have been day of technology and tenacity for me. So I began to give thought to the technology of tenacity. What I mean is the practical application of tenacity in our daily lives. This past weekend I decided to change the computer operation system on my desktop pc from Windows XP Professional to SuSE Linux. Yes, I'm a geek. I've said that before but I'll say again just in case your wondering what I'm doing with this computer operation system stuff. :-)

I love Linux! While I won't be going 100% away from Windows since a few applications I use just won't run on Linux I will be using Linux most of the time on my home PC from now on. Okay, so back to my story...somewhere along the way as I was making the switch I ran into a few snags with my data migrations, operation system installations and computer disks formats. Most of it had to do with getting few things configured to work the way I like to work. I tried a few configurations that involved virtual machines and dual booting.

To make a long story shorter, I ended up deleted several years worth of data I had backed up to external storage drive! I was horrified. :-) No really, in spite of the happy face...I really was. BUT I knew a solution was available I just didn't know what it was or what it was going to cost me. I just knew that a solution could be found and that I could recover my data.

To add insult to injury, I'm and Information Technology (IT) engineer by day and I've been doing IT for over a decade. The error that resulted in my data loss was pure genius on my part (can you hear my sarcasm?). I was a careless mistake that should not have happened.

I had just come off a long week and had a long weekend of technology related challenges. It seemed and felt like a very unproductive week for me on the personal development side as I was unable to get to a quiet place and think, reflect, write and inspire. I think I got a bit cranking with the PC because of it. ;-)

There Always A Lesson To Be Learned

But even from this I took some lessons on success motivation and positive thinking and found the inspiration to "keep it going".

Sometimes life throws us curves. The unexpected happens. The only constant is change itself as the saying goes, right? I had other plans the past week other than being knee deep in technology related challenges during the day and at home. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE technology and I can be very flexible and I've learned alot of patience dealing with technology. But had plans to do some writing for this blog and for a book I've decided to do because of the encouragement I've gotten from others to put my words into a book as well as a blog. My plans were blown out of the water.

Yet, when the curves of life happen and the distractions become the main attraction remain tenacious. Success is achieve one action at a time, one moment at a time. The technology of success is simply the practical application of what you know to do to reach your objectives. Your objectives bring you to your goals and your goals walk you into your destiny...your dream life...your best life now.

If again, we take into consideration the definitions I've written out above I like to define the Technology of Tenacity as the practical application of good old fashioned GRIP!

Just Hang On!

We must simply hang on to what we know and push towards the mark of where we want to go when nothing seems to go right. How about pressing towards your dreams when it seems that you don't have an ounce of time to just one little thing that would take you a step closer towards your dreams? Do you also have recurring distractions, detractors and detours?

Sometimes you just have to hang on. Hang on until the answer comes. Hang on until your time breaks free. Hang on until dark turns to dawn. Hang on until.

Now my technology challenges and data loss don't scale like much more significant challenges I've had and I'm sure you've had also. But there is lesson. I was able to find the tool I need that restored my data. But it took time. I had to research and compare tools and get the right price. I would have been easy to grab the first thing coming my way but that would not have been prudent. It would have just been the expedient thing to do. My data loss was critical. I lost everything...on the back up disk! That back up is where I keep...well the the back ups! LOL.

Here are a few things that this experience reinforced for me.

1. Don't Rubberneck. Sometimes we slow down and just stare at yet another collision that has occurred in our lives. Just like on the roads. We slow down and crane our necks for a good look at that car accident we've just driven upon. Don't beat yourself up over your mistakes, even that ones that you probably should have avoid. Hey, life happens. That goods. Mistakes help us feel alive and let us know we are still growing and need to remain vigilent.

2. The Truth Is Out There. Believe that there is solution to your challenge. Believe that you will find a way to get back on track and to recover from loss. Anyone who wants to reach there dreams must become and "comeback specialist". We have to learn how to come back and grow from the "hits" we take in life. We have get up for the trip and falls. Believing that you can recover from your losses and that the solution for your recovery is out there will accelerate your recovery rate. You optimize your mind, body and spirit with the energy you need to "keep it going".

3. The Strong Must Hold. My friend you are must stronger than you think you are. You must hold your position no matter what. Believing your solution is out there is one thing. It is quite another to hold on while you seek and wait for your solution. This is where your winning characteristics are forged. You enlarge your personal capacity to succeed each minute you maintain your grip! Your grip is strengthened as each minute passes. Don't get discouraged if it seems like nothing is going your way. Just hold on! Your roots grow deep when you hold on. Hold your position and fight forward until you get that answers you want and the solutions you need. The universe is designed to respond the those who are single minded and focuses. Tenacity cause us to adhere to the "why's" of what we are doing and where we are going.

Having Done All To Stand...Stand

So I eventually found my solution and I recovered from my error and data loss. If you are enduring stuck states and you feel that your life is simply not making the head way you planned and you feel that you are not getting any traction at all...I want to encourage you to simply hold on.

The Technology of Tenacity is simply the practical application of good old fashioned grip along with the knowledge and understanding of what you are fighting for. Your grip will be harder to maintain if you don't have a big and powerful enough "why". Our "why's" will determine how we will there (our dreams coming true) or whether we will get there at all.

Your dreams ARE worth fighting for. Life isn't easy and answers aren't always a finger tip away. More often than not, we have to mix it up, stand firm and fight for the light of a better life by simply holding on when there is just nothing else we can do in that moment.

Strengthen your grip. Hold on.

Phew! My schedule over the past 10 days or so has been unusually busy. But I'm still on fire! I haven't posted much within the past few days so I'm glad to be back at keyboard. I was reflecting today on the power of benevolence. My wife and I were presented with a fantastic opportunity to help another family in a very significant way that was also a sacrifice for us. We were so moved to offer our time and resources and we were beside ourselves with joy because of how this family was significantly impacted by our support. We were really able to make a lasting impact and it was a true blessing for us to be able to do so. Well, a chain of emotions ensued as both families came together to celebrate in the spirit of benevolence.

We had not known this family for too long but after coming together with them we felt like we had known them for an awesome period of time. I've spent some time today just thinking about the joy experienced by this family. But the real joy was ours and we were the real benefactors. Sometimes life gets so busy that we either don't have the time or we don't take the time to give and serve others in much greater capacities. It's easy to give when the giving isn't sacrificial. There are times however when we are called to put the brakes on all of our own issues and tend to the issues of others.

My family and I had our hearts enlarged and our capacity to serve others expanded as we took the time to think about the needs of this other family and go beyond the call of duty to see that they were fully supported. It's was such a refreshing experience for us and it reminded us of our duty to do good and to seek out needs that we have the ability to meet.

The Benefit of Benevolence
I want you to think about ways in which you can demonstrate benevolence without any immediate return on your efforts. The best kind of giving is that which is freely distributed without strings or expectations attached. Life is more rewarding when you give out of love and compassion only. You think that the target of your good deeds is the benefactor when in actuality you are. When we give we touch that part of greatness in us that seeks to improve the quality of life for our fellow man. The laws of sowing and reaping will see to it that you are faithfully rewarded for your giving so why not give?

The benefit of benevolence is a heightened awareness of those less fortunate around us and of our capacity to access the best parts of who we are and then sharing that with others. This is a powerful way to change your life and chart a course to change the world. So often people struggle with seeing the good in themselves when all they need to do is open themselves up the the needs of others and lose the focus on their own needs.

The need for love is filled by loving. The need for friendship is filled by first being a friend. The need for peace is filled by being peaceful. What am I saying here? I'm saying that in order to receive you should give. Return is natural and spiritual law of life and success. The more you give, then the more you will receive. But it's the transformation of self in the process of service that is of greatest benefit. We all want to transform into something bigger and better. Releasing what you have on behalf of others is a great way to spark transformation. You unleash your greatest self and you set yourself up for huge returns.

Giving Unto Greatness
Can you remember how you felt when you gave something of yourself? Your time? Your talent? Your treasure? Can you recall the powerful emotions of joy and peace and blessing associated with doing something that you know really, really made a difference in the life of another? Have you considered that you can access those emotions at anytime by seeking to serve at all times? You will in effect create a history of service that is undeniable and you will have anchored your spirit, mind and emotions to a series of passionately positive experiences that reveal your greatness!

Take some time to think about you benefit from your acts of benevolence towards others. When was the last time you really served someone? When was the last time you put yourself last to meet the need of another in a significant way? Benevolence unlocks the good in us and makes the world a better and brighter place to live.

Next Level Success - Conference Photos

I just got the DVD in yesterday of the recording of my first speaking engagement I talked to you about on January 31, 2005, this year. Again, I appreciated all the support and feedback.

This was a fantastic experience for me and only the beginning. I am continuing my pursuit of the dream to become many things and among them is to help people upgrade their minds and change their lives. Life is to be lived to fullest and sometimes that isn't always easy. We all have internal and external challenges that must be met and overcome.

That is the real call to action. To overcome the challenges designed to make us better human beings and transform us into who we envision ourselves to be. We are created and designed to discover, grow, change and achieve.

That's our journey and it never stops. Sure there are checkpoints and milestones of success but we must never be satisfied with a single win or accomplishment. We must use our series of wins to press on dream bigger and do better!

Next Level Success - Conference Update

Hello everyone!

Wow...was this weekend powerful! I wrote to you last week about my speaking engagement for this weekend. I had hoped to post some encouragement but the weekend was very BUSY! It was high energy and lots of fun.

Okay...first, I just got back home from Detroit. This weekend I attended a success and marketing conference called Unleash Your Marketing Genius. I was asked to speak and this as I stated early was the first "official" step for me in the direction of living my best life now. :-)

I want to say thank you to my friends Wayne of Procrastination Station , Chris Kowalski, and Emily Mann of the Divine Miss Em Blog. I thank you for your kind words and support.

I am glad to report that my effort was success! I am forever changed! I have officially expanded my capacity to believe and receive my dreams by stepping out in faith and doing it "now". I spoke on Saturday, January 29th at 4pm EST. The conference was outstanding. There was a lot of interactive content around creative thinking, innovation and teamwork. There were two large video screens and lights and other great stuff to that created a powerful multisensory experience.

Conference Atmosphere
There were about 300 business persons and entrepreneurs there. I gained some valuable contacts and friendships that were amazing. I met some very successful business men and women that had significant financial achievement yet their humility and charity really moved me. One such person is Gerald Haman. Gerald is the founder of Solution People. This gentle is a multi-millionaire many times over and is a leader to Fortune 500 companies for creativity and innovation. I got to sit at the speakers table with him for the entire weekend and learn from his brilliance. He is a very inspirational figure and great contact to have.

My wife and kids attended the seminar to support me and Gerald was kind and supportive to all of us. He told me that I did and outstanding job with my presentation and sent me a congratulatory e-mail even though we were sitting next to each other the whole weekend. The point being is that he was a great example of success and character.

Mike Litman who is a very inspirational figure also congratulated me on my first effort and told me that continue to pursuit it. Mike was fun and a great person to meet. Alex Mandossian was also a very approachable, normal and great person to meet and hand out with.

All of the presentations for fantanstic and I learned a lot about business and marketing success.

My Experience
I started my presentation with a thought provoking video that played on the two huge screens that were set up. I initially had a laptop failure just 15 minutes before my presentaton. The laptop went dead and my power point slide was trapped in it. Fortunately Alex Mandossian allowed me to use his USB hard drive to transfer the slides so I was able to recover my content and put it on a different laptop just minutes before show time. Since this was my first time it really threw me off and I was a bit shaken but the show had to go on. We ran a little bit over time tinkering with getting the technology to work so there were people sitting and waiting.

Once I got started I just let it rip. I settled into my zone and let the passion pour out into the people. I wasn't sure how I was doing because the technical glitches threw me off and in my mind I felt a little bit like I was recovering the whole message from start to finish from a awkward start. I lost track of time so they were flagging me from the back of the room and I had not completed all my slides. So I picked a good spot to end the presentation and closed out by thanking the audience for their time.

I got a standing ovation! It was incredible. I was then swamped by people wanting to ask me questions and make contact. The attendings were asked to fill out a feedback form and I was informed last last night that I got high marks for having one of the best presentations of the weekend.

I was overwhelmed by hearing that. It was very life affirming. We had break out sessions on Sunday and my two 1-hour sessions were packed. I got a ton of personal feedback and confirmation that speaking is one of my life purposes.

I felt the fear and did it anyway! I discovered that I had an even greater passion and love to teach people and talk with them and help them grow and discover new ideas and information. I cannot fully put into words how my outlooked has been elevated to a new level. The fact that I was able to get a ton of feedback from professionals and layman alike allowed me to get a good fix on how effective I was with communicating to others.

I'm a bit tired from the 8 hour drive back home (we decided on a family road trip instead of flying this time) so I have much more to post about what I learned about myself and pursuing the "high call". I'll share with you next time.

All pictures and video snippets are forthcoming and my presentation will be available via DVD. Although the DVD will be a part of a product that is not relevant for our topics here I will certainly look to post some video excerpts as soon as I can. Because of the media rich set up with colored lights and smoke and screens the camera shots did not turn out well so we are going to take stills from the video that was done.

I ask for your patience as I work to make these available. Honestly, I very excited about seeing the results myself!

Stepping out of Comfort

Well this weekend marks a significant event for me. I'm going to taking what amounts to the first of many big steps towards my dream of being a public speaker. My interests are success motivation, family, technology and entrepreneurship. I dream of being a teacher and exhorter. There is something magical about sharing information and seeing the light go off in someone mind to cause breakthrough.

I'm leaving the comfort zone on this issue and going for the gold. It will be a bit intimidating since I'm speaking along side established millionaires and speakers but as the upstart, I accept my situation and embrace the challenge.

This is the right arena for me to up my commitment and excellence and a grand opportunity to speak and get wisdom from others who are actually doing and living some of the dreams that I have. This is going to be awesome!

My passion is the create "change of mind" for success and happiness. Hence the name of this blog and the themes I like to talk about. Over the next few days you can expect motivation quotes to keep you lifted and gifted for your best life now and I will be back soon sharing and talking with you.

I will post a photo or two to share will you all regarding my "big step" and I look forward to your feedback. This is quite exciting and yet challenging. I'll be speaking to group of about 300 entrepreneurs, marketers and business persons on the subject of Internet publishing technology.

I know that you are supporting me and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you when I get back. I'm taking the next step in my destiny...this is where the rubber meets the road for me. I've spoke to "tiny" groups before but I've recently started to focus my efforts towards really developing myself in this area. Speaking and teaching is a joy. I'm committed to being the best I can be.

Remember, you can expect content while I'm away so feel free to visit and get your encouragement! I'll personally be back at the helm of things next week on Tues Feb 2nd. I leave for my big adventure this week Thursday Jan 27th.

Merry Christmas everyone! Yes, I know this is bit late. But Christmas isn't over. It's been pretty busy for me and my family for the last few days as I suspect it has been for you. Holiday travels, last minute shopping and all the fun activity that accompanies this time of year.

In all of the heightened awareness about giving and receiving comes the temptation to be disappointed about what we didn't receive this Christmas morning.

The Power of New Possibilities

The Power of New Possibilities - Positive Mind

Have you considered the the possibilities? How about the possibilities for living your best life now? I believe "inspiration is the peek at greatness". There is a saying, and I'm paraphrasing it -- that a mind once expanded by new ideas doesn't shrink to its former dimensions. Guy Finley says that inspired thought is that particular insight that poinst to the height of what you might yet become. This really caught my attention because to me inspiration is the peek at greatness in that when you are inspired you are momentarily transported in your mind to place of reality that says all things are possible! You actually see albeit sometimes dimly or briefly what is truly possible for your life. You have to nurture and grow a positive mindset to mature your view of new possibilities and get a clearer and clearing view of the powerful changes that can occur in your life.

When you are inspired, you are discerning your peak potential and your ability to execute greatness from within. This is why maintaining a positive mind is incredibly important. You have no other instrument for change other than your own mind. Everything else for life of failure or success flows from there. Perception is reality and if your perceive lack of power for positive change you will act accordingly. However, you are created for greatness and for constant change! Your can and will change!

Your mind was designed for complexity. You have everything you need to solve your most pressing and complex problems and live your best life now! It is all within you. When you focus on those things that move and inspire you and those things the consistently put in positive mind states and keep you focused on the heights of what you truly can become...my friend you will begin to see new possibilities and tak the necessary actions to solve your most pressing problems.

You see, living your best life now and experiencing success is not the absence of problems. Living your best life means maintaining a positive mindset that allows you enlarge your perception of who you and empower you to over problems and achieve your goals. In truth when you begin to perceive new possibilities for change and growth your mind will enlarge itself to accommodate those possibilities. You must decide however that possibility can be reality that perception is that you will win and you will succeed.

When you get inspired and get that peek or that look into your greatest potential...HOLD TIGHT TO TO! Don't let it go. Meditate on and become to yourself acting it out. See your new possibilities in action and see those actions replacing your old way of doing things. Now make it reality be doing something now that will reinforce your new positive mindset.

So what is really the power of new possibilities? The power of new possibilities is that power to immediately turn your life around and walk away from failure and lack of fulfillment simply because you perceive you can! The power of new possibilities is the hope of tomorrow being lived out in the present. It is being able to make tomorrows dreams a reality today! You are infinitely upgradeable and there is no stopping the life of an individual powered by a positive mind that constantly entertains new possibilities for hope, change, and growth.

When you focus on new possibilities your energy and efforts are directed towards what you can become instead of wasted time and energy focused on what you are trying to be. The process of trying to be is the domain of actors, pretenders, and manpleasers. Trying to be something you are not is to make decision that are in the interest of others in order to get their acceptance. You are living for others when you do this and you will be forever bound to the thoughts of other people until you decide you live uniquely as yourself. Trying to become who you are is the process of making decisions that are in the interest of you excepting yourself and living the unique life that you were created for. When you work on the process of becoming you are building a life that ultimately live according to your greatest potential for happiness and personally fulfillment. It is only when you except the power of new possibilities that you will realize that you are not stuck, you are not in rut and you are indeed able to create a compelling future for long term happiness and success.

Now It's Your Turn To Achieve inspirational thought for breakthrough success!

Inspirational thought is your key to unlocking solutions that solve the big problems in your life and in the life of others.

When you realize that life breaks down essentially into two categories of issues:

Problems

Solutions

How we interpret problems and solutions in our lives will determine how well we do with our lives. If you see problems as barriers and not opportunities you will remain defeated. If you don't identify solutions or create solutions you will remain defeated.

You thoughts are the keys to your kingdom of happiness and joy. When you learn how to cultivate inspired thought that focuses on thrill and excitement of living through the challenges of life to create the life of your choosing you will soar higher than you've ever known.

The powerfully fantastic thing about inspirational thought is that the more you using the more it uses you. What exactly do I mean?

Well, let's first start with a couple definitions.

Inspire means to influence, move or guide by divine or supernatural inspiration. It also means to enliven or motivate.

Inspiration means the action or power of moving the intellect or emotions.

Inspirational thought is thought that enlivens and motivates. It is thought that moves the intellect or emotions and powerful ways.

It is also supernatural. It is an immaterial reaction that disrupts your material world. Who explain the connect you make when you hear stories of triumph and victory? Heroics and acts of mercy?

Sure, we can document the laws of mind, will and intellect that gives us understanding of reaction, stimuli and stimulus. That isn't what I'm referring to. I'm referring the ring in heart of the person the person that sparks life and hope and change where there wasn't any before.

I can say this for sure. As humans, we WANT to be moved and inspired. We hunger and thirst for it. All to often we get in small quantities from outside sources or other stories and we have a hard time maintaining our moments of inspiration for long-term, lasting change in our lives.

I'm going to share with you 4 easy steps to inspirational thought that will put you on the path to breakthrough success. It is so important that you learn to cultivate inspirational thought because when you do, you create a cycle of positive power within yourself that begins to feed on itself.

Thoughts attract other thoughts of the same likeness. When you choose the think inspirational thoughts that use them to enliven and motivate you for positive change what you will find is that those thoughts will actually begin to you use you to. You will find yourself oddly enough at first but naturally desiring to give pause for thinking about what is so right about your life and not what is wrong. You will begin to feel comfortable thinking about the challenges that face in light of the positive change that will come to you when you solve problems instead of dread and negative thoughts that you would have normally identified with.

Here are 4 simple steps:

1. Meditate
2. Incubate
3. Elaborate
4. Activate

1. To mediate simply means to focus your thoughts on or ponder over something. You have to quite the noise in your life and take time out to focus on what is absolutely right about your life. Picking out what is wrong is too easy. There will only be something you can consider wrong with your life. That challenge is to live a life that transcend what is wrong by creating a life the amplifies what is right. What you focus on what is right, you see solutions and you entire life begins to line up with how you begin to think.

Create schedule of "think time" to perform these exercises. You could schedule think time daily, weekly or monthly. It must be regular and not erratic because thinking is work. Most people don't want to think for this reason. That want someone else to do it for them. But you want control of your life so I know you will keep your commitment to think time.

Ponder over what is right about your life to begin to build a positive energy base. You want to create the proper mindset to begin your journey of change. When you set the proper attitude, you prepare yourself for higher altitudes.

You need to read inspirational stories of change and hope. You must provide the feel for your mediation that will offset anything negative programming to date otherwise you are liable to meditate on more of what you don't want and don't like in your life right now. Read inspirational, articles, letters, poems, movies. You want to seed your mind for hope and change and begin the process and building belief for yourself. Keep regular diet of inspiration thought and thinking in your life. No matter what! Focus and become inspired. You should put yourself in the place of the person who story inspires you.

Feel that feel victory, experience that change. See yourself there. Build on the emotion. Imagine taking those same steps to change our life.

2. Incubate. Incubate means to cause to develop (as an idea). In this step, you should write down ideas about what solutions you need in order to solve your biggest problems and get you on your way to living your best life now. Just spend time thinking about them and let them sit in the back of your mind. Those ideas will begin to grow and come more into focus. You will begin to see grow your focus on what you want and instead of what you don't want.

Ideas are things that grow. You will soon start to generation ideas from these ideas. As you started to focus on inspirational stories for inspirational thought you have enlivened and motivated your mind to see new possibilities and new hope. Develop ideas for new change and a new life. You are in control. Direct your inspiration and don't be whimsical about it. Use your new found inspirational thought for new ideas! This ideas are keys to breakthrough!

3. Elaborate. Elaborate means fullness of detail. Detail those ideas you have generated from your inspirational thinking. In steps 1 and 2 you are training your mind for possibility thinking. You are developing and focuses life that reaches for the best in life not matter. You are pointing your entire life towards and positive destiny that creates hope. This is powerful! When you open the door to inspirational thought, you will attract more inspirational and you will become more inspirational in our actions.

Now elaborate on those ideas. Detail you plan for breakthrough. Chart your course and set the goal. Give yourself enough detail to make your make plan real and something you can act on. Give too little detail and you won't have a enough to work with. Don't provide to much detail that you get lost just trying to get started.

4. Activate. Activate means produce action or movement. This is really simple. GO FOR IT!. No more excuses. Just do it.

Repeat this steps on a regular bases and you will transform yourself and your life into something you had never before known was possible. Change is good. Change is necessary. You CAN change your life when you change your thoughts. Inspirational thought is powerful and required for breakthrough success!

Are You Ready To Experience Ultimate Happiness For The Rest of your life?

If so, then you must commit to getting in the game of life and confronting what is preventing you from attempting greatness in your life. Fear of success? Fear of failure? Low self-esteem? Lack of self-confidence?

Here is fantastic quote that inspires me every time I read it. It reminds me to continually focus on action, action, action. You must focus on acting on your hopes and dreams and shutting your mind to all the critics. That includes your inner critic as well.

Hope against hope and just go for it. You will NEVER experience ultimate happiness unless you are acting on your goals and doing what you really want to do with your life. You don't have to be in bondage to fear of failure.

My friend, you got the goods. You only need to use them!

Here, read this quote:

"It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement; and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly; so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat."

Well? Powerful isn't it? Mike Litman says that you don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going. To experience ultimate happiness you must respond to and live your true calling. Now is the time to get it going. If you wait until you think you can succeed without experiencing failure you are only fooling yourself. Failure is part of the experience for anyone reaching for great things.

Fear of failure is the domain of those who refuse to accept the challenge of life. The challenge to actually LIVE while alive!

You see, anyone can stand on the side and talk about the failures of others, criticize the man or women attempting to do something.

Those with true character are the ones that are actually in the battle of life, defending their dreams and fighting for the right to experience their self-defined happiness. This person does not shy away from the risk of loss because of the great reward that lies at the end of their journey. Life is a constant series of journeys. Never ending and always going through change.

Appreciate yourself as God has defined you and reach for our own greatness. While others and the world constantly try to define you by what you look like, what you drive, what you live in, how much money you have...you should maintain your own strength in rejecting all things that do not support your goals.

Fear of failure is a mirage. Most people who step out on their dreams realize there was nothing to fear after all. The only thing required was the willingness to learn from mistakes and accept change as the only path of growth. If you do this I guarantee you will live at the peak of happiness.

You won't be happy just because of any amount of abundance you acquire along the way to happiness. Sure, you will gain abundance and a rich life when you live your purpose. However, your ultimate happiness will come from that fact that you are doing what you really believe in and what you really believe you were born to do. Come hell or high water, when  you are living at the center of your life's purpose you become UNSTOPPABLE.

Your dreams are yours alone and are to be protected at all costs. No one and I mean no one should be allowed enough power over you to take them away. You can overcome any fear of failure and experience breakthrough to ultimate happiness.

Living A Life That Counts - Personal Success

We live in the age of the "human superstar". Societies hero's or role models are mostly entertainers, athletes, or business tycoons admired for their good looks, charm, and money rather than for a life that truly honors God privately and publicly.

Modern society is preoccupied with celebrity, popularity, and status that if someone of true character showed up, that individual would scarcely be recognized.

Today, I want to encourage you to nourish a desire to want to live a life of that counts through maintaining and build good, solid character. Be a champion of integrity. No one is really born with greatness it is an acquired trait. Many are born with remarkable skill and ability in certain areas of life. These abilities merely accentuate their greatness and is not the reason for their greatness. On the other hand there are many who do not wield good looks, power or remarkable skill or influence but are great champions whose success is rooted in character. These are true heroes. When their character was tested they did not falter. The did not compromise. do you know of any "superstars" or modern "heroes" whose character failed when they were tested? Yeah, I think you do.

You should seek to be a hero to those with whom you have influence over in your life. You accomplish this by holding true character as your measure of success and not how much of the trappings in this life you can accumulate. Create a desire to want to be an example worthy of imitation. If your life is to really count with those you know, you must yield yourself to the develop of character that will allow you to go the distance for those you love. The depth of character that allows you create, acquire give away and if all things are lost, this depth of character allows you to do it all over again.

Personal success can be measure many ways. I believe any amount of personal success must first be measured in how you are and what you are becoming. If your life is to count you must be committed to finish strong. Train up and strong mind using your fantastic powers of positive thinking and imagination to design your ideal best life.

Talent can get you just about anywhere your want to go. Character will keep there. If you are one with and abundance of possession, fantastic and well done. Substance to sustain your needs is no small thing in this life. My question to you is: Who are you without the fancy cars, nice homes and financial where withal?

Are you one who is struggling financial and every minute is a desperate cry for survival? My question to you is: Who are you and who must your become to get the life you want?

Whether rich or poor, character makes the man or woman. If you have the right commitment to yourself to stay true to yourself and serve your fellow man with kindness and generosity, you life will be lifted and can sustain and consistent journey of personal success.

Character is so important! You will have peaks and valleys all life long, not what your position is society. Personal success is WHO you become along your entire journey of life and not what you come to acquire. You should be rewarded for a life lived well in the service of others. But you will serve other best when you have character that will pass any of life's tests.

Character, not skill is the key to a life that really counts.
