It is certainly good know that others find value in what your doing. In this case I'm very encouraged by the replies and comments I've gotten about my blog, Upgrade Your Mind. This blog was started as a result of my desire to motivate, uplift and encourage others for lifelong learning and personal success. Upgrade Your Mind has recieved a Power Blog review from Small Business Trends Blog.

Anita Campbell, the Editor SBT, is a very successful entrepreneur and business professional and I encourage any entrepreneurs and small business persons to bookmark her blog. Her blog is a powerful and useful tool for understanding the market influences that affect small business success.

I like to practice grace and thanksgiving for all things large and small and so I extent a gracious thank you to Anita and Small Business Trends for find value in Upgrade Your Mind and writing up the awesome review. Thanks Anita!

Everday we all sit on the brink of positive change. Your breakthrough and change is always one thought or idea away. We all need daily encouragment to dig into the treasure trove of our minds and mine it for all the untapped potential and unlimited power to create the life of our dreams.

I write this post to you out of a greater sense of gratitude and thanks. Again I've gotten so much positive feedback. I'm realizing my dreams one step at a time by simply following my vision to impact others for postive change.

Success Motivation and learning how to improve myself as a human being is my daily challenge. Above all, my greatest desire is to simply "Finish Strong" in life. When it's all said and done I want to have lived well, loved well and done well. I want a legacy that says about me that I did it my way and in the process I loved and served others with dignity, respect and leadership worthy of imitation. I want to make a difference in your life which means that I first make that difference in my own life.

For me there is great joy in writing, sharing and speaking something that opens up the mind of someone else to their own potential and possibilities for life change. Isn't that really what we want? Change is at the core of everything we desire. It's just that change is sometimes very hard to do and so we look longingly at the end result trying to figure out a way to get to where we want without going through change or at least as little change as possible.

Well, there is indeed joy in the journey! Just as important as where you are going is who you become along the way. Who you becomes ultimately determines your level of success and happiness. You have to adopt the mindsets and character disciplines for success...that's important.

Life is a fight and you must rejoice by choice because when it seems life isn't fair you have to have a plan to make something happen for you anyway. You don't get a chance to pick your parents or your circumstances you are initially born into.

But you do come into this world with one of several powerful gifts. The gift and ability to "imagine" what life to live and the power to choose to make it happen.

I've overcome near death as a child, loss of a business, loss of employment, repossessed property, I've recovered from a marriage that almost didn't survive, overcome low self-esteem and many other things. Fortunately my wife and I had the grit to commit and we've not only weathered some tough times but we are more powerfully connected then ever before. We just celebrated 10 years this past September 2004. Wow. As a result we spend regular time encourage and helping to strengthen families and marriages in our community. I just think back on my life and times and I can only say that I'm making it and I'm surviving and I'm make my dreams come true!

I wanted to share a bit of my life so that you can get a feel for the persona behind the blog. I'm you and your me. We all desire to be happy and fulfilled. I see my role as exhorter and encourage for you along your journey.

Through it all I've learned to focus one "what matters most". I no longer sweat the small stuff and I've learned to "give momma her flowers now". In other words, take the time to celebrate now and seize the day! Don't wait until later, don't wait until circumstances are just right. Your circumstances will never be right unless you decide to take charge and follow your dreams.

It starts with you and it starts right now. What is your story? What have you overcome that has allowed you to help others? What are your dreams and goals and how are you doing in attaining them?
