Chasing Change for Self-Improvement

Chasing Change

Daily Success Motivation and Self-Improvement

Self-Improvement is everywhere. Motivation should inspire it and success demands it. We are pressured on all sides these days to succeed as fast as we can and to go as far as we can in the shortest time possible. Most success we read about, listen to, or witness is the result of some season or years of ground work and labor. Most of what we see in the way of success is slow grown.

But slow isn't sexy in this modern age and so success it just a one-two step program away. That's why 'get-rich-quick' never seems to lose its appeal although the wise know better. Thinking that success overnight is possible, we find ourselves challenged or tempted to find the fast-track program to from here to there.

Beware the Madison Avenue marketing magic, music videos and movie mantra. Everywhere we look the message is similar: success comes quickly. If you don't have bling then you are a no-thing. Success should be desired quickly and until you have attained some stated level of success as depicted in the media you are led to feel inadequate.

And so here we are. Completely inadequate. Now we are so hurried in our attempts to escape our old inadequate selves that we miss life in the process. We are chasing change as if it has left us behind instead of realizing that we, ourselves are the drivers of our own change and because of that, we don't have to rush into the future as if we are being left behind.

Success Formula: Get It...Now!

There are fast-track management and training programs. There are instant millionaires. There is the old mainstay of get rich quick. There is overnight delivery of this or that. Going slow just doesn't appeal and we end up missing the point of transformation.

The challenge comes in the way of pressure to succeed quickly. We end up chasing change for the sake of change and we missed the purpose we started out with. Intead of reaching richer life experience we end up pursuing a life of riches. Instead of focusing on the character building activities that sustain success we focus on actions to quickly attain success.

The net result? We are still unhappy, unfulfilled, burning out fast and missing life's precious moments.

Transformation is about becoming the greatest person you can become so that you enjoy the most that life has to offer you and so that you can experience your greatest levels of success and fulfillment. You cannot attain this at your current level of living. This is application to all of us. We must attain new skills to succeed in jobs right? So it is with life. We must become better people (character, mind, spirit, etc) to experience higher levels of all success.

I believe in step programs and methods and points to success. I really do. But only as a means present concepts for success and motivation in ways that help me to learn, understand and apply actionable processes to my life and teach them to others. Clearly defined principles for success in any format does not mean quick success. We can learn quickly but success takes time.

It doesn't mean your success will take many long years. On the contrary, by applying proven methods from the success of others you will dramatically reduce your time to success. Why reinvent the wheel when you can leverage the experience of someone else succeeding at something you have in interest in pursuing.

Real Truth: Success Takes Time

Yet you have to realize that success requires some amount of time to mature and bear fruit. We must all put in the unseen labor and work in building our dream and making live happen especially when not is watchin, our labor is uncelebrated and we feel like we are actually losing progress!

By observing and reflecting on the moments of our lives we are able to engage opportunities for success that we could never manufacture and we can learn lessons that would otherwise go sight unseen because we aren't paying attention.

Pursuing your greatest goals should include the understanding that becoming great is powerful not only for what it can get you but more importantly for what it can make of you. Your success should formost be about who you can become and not just what you can obtain. Your material abundance should be the result of your success as a person.

It is the journey that matters most and how well you grow along the journey. As you reach for change and success, take some time to think about what changes you are working on and what results you are getting but don't forget to experience your life process.

You must be keenly aware of your life as it happens to you and apply your changes in the moment. Don't allow your life to become a series of successful activities that do not address that person within. That "real" you inside that needs to nurtured and supported.

I don't want you to become so driven for change that you miss living your own life. Does that sound a bit strange? How you can you miss your own life? It's simple. It's call observation and reflection. When we fail to observe and reflect we fail to show gratitude, thankfullness and opportunities to nurture peace and strength within ourselves.

Observe and Reflect for Success

Observation and reflection keeps up from missing the whole of point of life change which is to become more as person to get more and enjoy more of life. Change is a cornerstone of our success and the gateway to lasting motivation in any of our life's undertakings.

Recognize that you are enough. You value has no price tag and all that you need to succeed starts by realizing your own value and potential. You can only realize this by taking the time for yourself. Observe and reflect on what matters most and the great opportunities to change your life.

I encourage you to drive change because of your power and potential to become more of who you are today instead of chasing change for success and motivation because you feel you are not enough. Just because today you aren't all that you want to be doesn't mean you don't have a enough to become all that you can be tomorrow. You are enough. Go. Live. Succeed.
